About Us
Buckeye Tree Co. was established in 2000 by Craig Kidney. He earned his degree from Hocking College of Forestry in 1990 and has 18 years experience in the forest industry. Craig owns and operates Buckeye Tree Co., providing timber sale consulting services in South Eastern Ohio, Northern panhandle of WV, and Western Pennsylvania. Craig is registered with the WV State Board for Foresters, is a Certified Logger, Certified Tree Farm inspector, as well as a Certified Arborist through the International Society of Arboriculture.
Buckeye Tree Co. is expanding in 2008 with the addition of a Kasco band mill and a 4000 BF Nyle DH dry kiln. Our goal is to provide kiln dried custom hardwoods not available through traditional outlets, to the small shop woodworker. Surfacing is available as well as local pick up and delivery of logs and lumber. Look for our eBay store opening soon at Buckeyetreeco on the net.
